A record label as per Wikipedia article is ‘a brand or a trademark associated with the marketing of music recordings and music videos.’ A record label is way more powerful than we think it is because it is the first thing that all the musicians and singers look for.
Interscope records is an example of a very big record label which has signed Eminem, Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga. What’s interesting is that even though all of these artists have been signed to the same record label, they have never collaborated.
Anyway, we will try and come up with our own record label!
